Cadet Ward donated countless hours of his summer break to organize and streamline uniform issuance for over 140 NJROTC cadets. He managed the uniform issue process, updated the database, and assisted his classmates with uniform-related issues. He quickly became a trusted and integral part of the uniform issuance process.
C/CPO Kyle Ward is the Assistant Supply Officer for the Sebastian River High School Navy JROTC. He is currently a senior, and in his third year in the program. Being in the staff position has taught him organization, proper uniform sizing and establishing a connection with the younger cadets. Kyle always gives his best effort and he never quits until the job is done. He is part of the drill team, air rifle team, and orienteering team, and loves every part of NJROTC. He also enjoys working at Publix, and participating in karate and youth group. Kyle plans to attend IRSC to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an associate’s degree in Automotive Technology. His goal is to start a food trailer business and travel the country.
Cadets of the Month are selected during the months of academic year beginning in September and ending in April. Cadets are selected based on demonstrated leadership potential, dedication to the Navy JROTC program, and positive example set for other cadets.
