Cadet of the Month

February 2026

For professional achievement in the superior performance of his duties while serving from January 2026 to February 2026. C/SCPO Mike Beaucejour singlehandedly revitalized the Sebastian River High School NJROTC Armed and Unarmed Drill Teams. Cadet Beaucejour researched and practiced a variety of advanced rifle spinning and flipping maneuvers. He advertised, advocated for, and fielded the first competition-capable drill. He also coordinated with the school athletic director to perform a drill routine during the halftime of an SRHS basketball game – an unprecedented achievement for SRHS NJROTC Drill. Perhaps most impressive of all, Cadet Beaucejour accomplished all this with minimal assistance and no prompting from the NJROTC Instructors. C/SCPO Mike Beaucejour’s initiative, inspirational leadership, and unwavering dedication to duty reflected credit on him and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps.

Cadets of the Month are selected during the months of academic year beginning in September and ending in April.  Cadets are selected based on demonstrated leadership potential, dedication to the Navy JROTC program, and positive example set for other cadets.
