Cadet of the Month

October 2025

Cadet Chief Petty Officer (C/CPO) Rosenkrans went above and beyond the call of duty in her job responsibilities, often working on her administrative duties for several hours after the duty day and on her personal time. She collected, evaluated, and processed over 148 cadet records, discovering and correcting multiple errors. She liaised with platoon commanders and individual cadets to ensure accuracy and completeness of each record. In addition, she is unfailingly positive and polite in the execution of her duties.

C/CPO Meredith Rosenkrans is a third-year cadet and currently serves as the Assistant Administration Officer. She manages personnel records, form collection and filing, and other administrative tasks essential to the success of the unit. She was meritoriously promoted to Cadet Petty Officer Third Class during her freshman year at the annual awards ceremony. Meredith is openly Christian and passionate about sharing her faith. She enjoys a variety of hobbies, including skateboarding, hiking, crocheting, and movie marathons. Each day, she strives to spread joy and continue learning, firmly believing in taking life one day at a time, because to her, every new day is a blessing.

Cadets of the Month are selected during the months of academic year beginning in September and ending in April.  Cadets are selected based on demonstrated leadership potential, dedication to the Navy JROTC program, and positive example set for other cadets.
